PhotoDiary- LeBron James is MVP
Yesterday LeBron James won his 4th MVP title. Its interesting to note something that Pat Riley said yesterday:
“In my humble opinion, I believe the man right here (James) is the best of them all.”
Will LeBron lead the Miami Heat to back to back titles?

Thoughts: 2012-2013 NBA Regular Season: What to expect

The NBA season is now upon us! The first games will begin tonight with Washington @ ClevelandBoston @ Miami, and Dallas @ Los Angeles. What can we expect for the entire season?

The world was waiting for this moment! We can now call LeBron James a Champion! Dwight Howard and Steve Nash join forces alongside Kobe Bryant to make their own Big 3 in Los Angeles! Kevin Durant watches James Harden depart to Houston but Kevin Martin comes in to replace him in Oklahoma City as the Thunder attempt to go further in the Playoffs/Finals than they did last year. Hurricane Sandy strolls through New York City, will it impede the Nets/Knicks game? How are the Bulls going to pull it off this year without Derrick Rose? So many questions! This NBA season is undoubtedly going to have us all on our ups and downs and quite certainly will keep us entertained!

The Heat seem to be favored to come back and repeat as NBA Champions and I couldn’t agree more. I don’t see a team in the East that can have an impact as they did. Last year they were running over teams and they were ultimately unstoppable when it came to fast breaks and creating defensive stops for opponents. Where will that take them this year? Another ring for the King, DWade and Chris Bosh.

Alongside the Heat is a team that I believe can do plenty of damage because of the talent they have brought in this off-season. Upset, betrayed and perplexed is how I feel about Steve Nash going and leaving the Valley of the Sun to join the Lakers. Not only did Nash join but Dwight Howard did also! The Lakers now have those weapons to climb back into the top spot in the West against tough teams who have as much talent as they do. The Black Mamba is growing a year older and so is Steve Nash, the age factor (mark my words) is going to be an issue in Los Angeles. Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder added Kevin Martin, in my opinion a solid pick up before the season begins, but at a costly price. James Harden goes to Houston and revamps their lineup with an already hot Jeremy Lin.

How will Anthony Davis preform out of all the Rookies this season? Who will have an unexpected breakout year? Which teams are going to be the sleepers? Lob City, will we see them high flying for another year? Will Michael Beasley truly play at his full potential in Phoenix?

This season is sure to give us what we deserve as fans!

Thoughts: This is True: Are We Ready for LeBron James, the NBA Champion?

Game 5. LeBron James is here and he’s not cramping up as much as he was. Dwayne Wade is also here with us, he’s on his way to another NBA Championship. Chris Bosh is sitting on the bench, but he is, nonetheless, here. Udonis Haslem, the only other champion on the Heat roster is also here.

This is real, people…

How many of us are going to believe it. LeBron James and the Miami Heat, the team that fell short last year and during the NBA Season this year seemed like they weren’t going to even the Finals. So, here they are. Not only are they one game away from winning it all tonight but they are one game away from silencing the talkers and the mouths of the “haters” if you want to be urban about it.

Dan Gilbert might be the saddest man in the entire world tonight and we (he) have (has) no one to blame but ourselves (himself). LeBron and the Heat are a good team. Now, assuming they win, we can say they are a good championship team. But are we ready for that, I mean, we as human beings are always confronted with change but this is a drastic change.

We’ve been used to saying so many jokes about LeBron. Sure the 4th quarter is never going to be his friend. With this “ring” will he suddenly be pals with his finishing weakness? Will the people who didn’t believe in the Big 3, now suddenly believe? What if he doesn’t get this championship? Today those questions may just be answered.

No LeBron James team has ever sat just one win away from an NBA title. Until today.

This is just too real. The real questions, the answers can be given to us or we may just continue mocking James because of not having a championship. He’s played brilliantly this entire season, even on his games where he wasn’t playing great. We are ready for him to win it, now it’s just: Can LeBron James and the Heat close out and win the NBA Championship?
